the train faced engine failure at kayamkulam junction and it took lot of time to get it fixed which shows the lack of team effort to get it fixed from railway side

I missed this train due to late running of connection train no.16525 on 23.4.2023. Very much upset & my official training programby LIC of India was cancelled . Railway is responsible for this

Only one big problem this train because ithing some mechanical problems some times big sound and two three times cabin big shaking...we cannot sleep safely...

Bio toilet really smells too bad in whole of the train
Jerking while taking, stopping and accelerating and deacceleration in train. No shock absorber provided in between compartments

The bed rolls supplies are awful to say the least. Even in trains like Amrita Express, Ananrhapuri Express, Guruvayur Express where people in AC travel short distances get fresh sheets pillow covers etc. But in a prestigious train like 12623/24 the bed sheets and pillow covers are used ones being supplied to 2nd AC passengers. But they them in brown covers alright. Only when you take them out you'll see them soiled used and crumbled. I say what sort of service is that. I carry bed sheet to cover myself and turkish towels to cover the pillow. During the travel on 25th I never used any supplied by you.

the 3ac coach was neat and clean, he biggest flaw in this train that i saw was that there is no pantry car in this train. then the train arrived at my boarding station 12 minutes late, and arrived at my destination station almost 45 minutes late, since i travelled in an ac coach; the journey was comfortable for me, but if it was in a regular sleeper coach; it would have defenately been a tireing journey, especially with the train running late like this.. Day traveling would become hectic for the regular coach passengers if the train doesn't keep its time.

Journey was pleasant, the coach was 2017 model and was maintained well. I was really upset on my journey from chennai to kottayam on 27.10.2018 i train no.12695. To my surprise 12624 journey was an entirely different experience, thanks to Indian railways ????.

Train coaches were very clean and relatively new. Good coaches.
BUT..
train was 3 hours late at boarding point and 4 hours late at destination.
There was no pantry in the train. Some others brought the food but the food was good.
